How depression looks like + questions to ask ourselves

Pretty old music video… I just like how it depicts a depressed city

I like the lighting… it's not the best, but we should consider lighting for sure.

I'm just thinking, in conjunction of looking for style frames, let's ask ourselves these questions.

Who do you ignore? Why?
How would they look in balloon form?
How would they move in balloon form?
If the balloon is the head, what is the string? spine? shoulders?
How would the string behave? is it a separate entity?
What kind of body language would they use?
what kind of body language do you use?
What do you do when you're alone?
(we can also ask ourselves the opposite… eg: happy balloon…)

How can we depict depression? Loneliness?
How would a kid draw loneliness?
What kind of material is loneliness?
Is it realistic? or fuzzy like a memory?
How heavy is it?

Why would a kid ignore a balloon?
What is more interesting than a balloon?
